Find a counselor that works for you.
The effects of trauma, grief, anxiety, and depression don’t just impact us. They also impact those who walk through life with us. The best gift we can give our loved ones is to heal our wounded places so we can share our wholeness with them.
In order to have a thriving family we have to do our own work.
THERAPY, COACHING
Kim Anderson LPC-MHSP, CPLC
Kim is passionate about meeting moms where they are and providing them with the resources, tools, and support they need to challenge the patterns and mindsets that are keeping them stuck. She believes in the healing power of therapy and aims to connect mothers with the right therapeutic interventions to help them overcome their challenges and achieve personal growth and well-being.
-
Kim is a licensed therapist, certified life coach, speaker, author, mother, wife, and former military spouse who provides moms with tools to grow and thrive in their own lives so they can help those they love to grow and thrive as well.
She believes life is too short to stay stuck, and we all need a map and new tools to pull out our inner strength, brilliance, and joy.
Moms today are bombarded with lies about perfection, comparison, and their worth that can leave them feeling overwhelmed and defeated.
Kim uses her experience as a teacher, a therapist, and a coach to share transformational tools with her audience so that they can leave their time together with clear action steps toward confidence and joy.
Christina Confroy, LMFT
Christina is passionate about bringing hope to families in times of struggle. Her personalized approach is described as warm, playful, and engaging as she works with clients to help them better understand themselves within the context of their family dynamics. She values practical interventions that can be easily applied to everyday life. As a mother who has experienced pregnancy loss, she understands the delicate balance of caring for oneself while also caring for others. She asks only one thing of her clients: to come as they are.
-
Christina has always been passionate about relationships and gained firsthand experience with the therapeutic benefits of counseling when at the age of 15, her parents divorced. This experience highlighted the importance of communication, connection, and support within families, leading her to pursue a career in the field of counseling. Christina views parents as crucial in nurturing the mental health of children and teens. She is dedicated to Elevate Moms' mission, believing that supporting mothers leads to better outcomes for all.
Christina earned her B.S. in Psychology from Appalachian State University and obtained her M.A. in Applied Family and Child Studies with a Specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy at Northern Illinois University. She moved to Nashville in 2010 to marry her high school sweetheart and in 2015 became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist. She has over 14 years of experience serving youth and their families across settings including inpatient, outpatient, home, and school.
Through a collaborative and integrative approach to therapy, Christina draws from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Family Systems, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. Her goal is to create a welcoming and secure space where clients of all ages, from kindergarten to adulthood can explore challenges and grow skills that seamlessly transfer from session into everyday life.
Christina seeks out magic in the everyday moments with her husband of 13 years and their 3 children (10, 8, and 4). She loves starting her day in the word with a (sometimes) hot cup of coffee, reading books aloud to her kids, experiencing the Nashville music scene with her husband, and exploring the outdoors. When she’s not out and about, you can find her building community with neighborhood moms, cooking while listening to an audiobook, or roping any willing participant into playing a board game. She loves writing, reading, and running, but more than anything else, she values building meaningful relationships with those around her.

Lauren’s approach is genuine and warm with a focus on the whole person. She uses CBT, EMDR, mindfulness based techniques, and somatic based interventions. She loves integrating faith when the client is comfortable. She believes good therapy is a balance of developing a trusting, authentic relationship and gaining practical, realistic skills.
Lauren loves to travel and eat with her husband and two boys. They’re a homeschool family! She is a big fan of “mysteries” (aka Dateline, etc) and historical fiction or non-fiction books.
